Call for Applications: Series Launch 2025 – Transform Your Series Idea into a Marketable Project!

We are excited to announce the opening of applications for Series Launch 2025, MIDPOINT’s flagship training program designed for creators with fiction series projects. Whether developing a limited or ongoing series, this comprehensive program provides an unparalleled opportunity to take your project to the next level.

Series Launch 2025 will culminate in a final presentation at Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event in November 2025, where participants will have the chance to showcase their work to industry professionals and potential collaborators.

Why Apply to Series Launch 2025?
The program offers participants a holistic approach to series development, guiding them through crucial aspects of the process. Participants will:

  • Refine their series concept and develop a compelling pilot script.
  • Build a comprehensive series project package, including a series bible, a 3-pager, a teaser, and a strong production strategy.
  • Gain essential presentation and promotion skills to ensure their projects are market-ready.
  • Explore financing and marketing models, while learning about co-production opportunities.
  • Receive insights into the television and series industry from top European and international creators and professionals.
  • Gain basic skills for the sustainable and efficient use of AI in development workflows.


Program Schedule

The 2025 edition of the program will feature both online and in-person components across multiple months:

  • Project Pre-training: March 2025 (online)
  • Workshop 1: March 2025, Czech Republic
  • Online Consultations: April – June 2025
  • Workshop 2: June 2025, Czech Republic
  • Online Consultations: July – November 2025
  • Workshop 3 + Final Presentation: November 2025, Tallinn, Estonia, in collaboration with Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event.


Who Can Apply?

The program is open to creative teams of writers and producers, possibly including directors if they are attached to the project. Projects from Central and Eastern Europe or those intended for co-production with the region are especially encouraged to apply.


Participation Fee

The fee for the entire program is €2,100 per participant. This covers accommodation, board, and tuition during the residential workshops. Please note that travel costs are not included.

Application Deadline
The deadline for submissions is December 2, 2024.
